WEEKLY EVENTS

Every week on Sunday we have Liturgy, a spiritual service based on the loaves and fishes tradition of abundance. It is rooted in Franciscan tradition, through a social justice, Earth-centered, inclusive lens. It starts at 9am at the fire circle in the garden behind 1969 Harrington Ave. People of many and no faith traditions attend, all are welcome.

Our food distribution happens every Friday at 12pm in front of Mother Earth, 1978 36th Ave. To volunteer and support our distribution, join for grocery bagging at 11:30. Come by for fresh produce, dry goods, and local foods and medicines. This is also a space to meet your neighbors and get involved in mutual aid efforts in the Fruitvale. All offered as a gift!

We host a weekly Wednesday evening Sangha, a meditation sit and evening meal. Please contact us to share your interest in joining.

Our weekly garden work parties are currently on pause. Seasonal public work parties are announced on the Friends of Canticle mailing list, please join us there to hear about them.

Other events: If you are local to us in the Bay Area and interested in hearing about more events and opportunities to visit and volunteer, you can sign up for our Friends of Canticle mailing list.
